Cancer Resistant Protein Clone: BXP-21 Signet clone BXP-21 is a mouse
monoclonal MDR antibody that reacts with an internal epitope of BCRP
(70kD) membrane transport protein, involved in multidrug resistance.
BCRP may be over-expressed in cancer cell lines selected with
doxorubicin/verapamil, topotecan or mitoxantrone. Clone BXP-21 does
not cross react with the human MDR1, MRP1 and MRP2 gene products.
The immunogen is a fusion protein composed of E. Coli maltose
binding protein and BCRP peptide [126 amino acids, 271-396 AA of
BCRP, GeneBank accession #AF098951]. BXP-21 can be used on standard
blots and protocols have been established in ICC and
IHC(frozen/FFPE). |

Clone: CU18 Isotype: IgG1 This antibody detects BCA-225 a
glycoprotein (MW 225-250kD) secreted by the T47D breast carcinoma
cell line. Strong intracytoplasmic staining is seen in primary and
metastatic breast carcinoma tissue, as well as in cervical
carcinomas. Apical/glycocalyx staining is seen in normal kidney,
lung, fallopian tube, liver, skin, (eccrine sweat glands) and
uterus. Similar staining patterns are observed in lung, ovarian, and
endometrial cancers. Carcinomas of the colon, stomach, prostate,
urinary bladder, liver, pancreas, thyroid, and parotid are negative,
as are sarcomas and lymphoid cancers. |

Clone: D6 Isotype: IgG2a This monoclonal antibody, exclusively
available from SIGNET, detects Gross Cystic disease Fluid Protein
15, a glycoprotein (MW 15kD) expressed by apocrine sweat glands,
eccrine glands (variable), minor salivary glands, bronchial glands,
metaplastic epithelium of the breast, benign sweat gland tumors of
the skin and the serous cells of the submandibular gland. Breast
carcinomas (primary and metastatic lesions) with apocrine features
express the BRST-2 antigen. BRST-2 is positive in extramammary
Paget's Disease, while other tumors tested are negative. |

Clone: B72.3 Isotype: IgG1 The B72.3 antibody detects TAG-72
(Tumor-Associated Glycoprotein - 72), a high molecular weight
glycoprotein (220-400 kD) complex expressed by a wide variety of
human adenocarcinomas. This antigen is expressed by a majority of
invasive ductal breast carcinomas, and most of colon, pancreatic,
gastric, esophageal, lung (non-small cell), ovarian and endometrial
adenocarcinomas. It is not expressed by leukemias, lymphomas ,
sarcomas, mesotheliomas, melanomas or benign tumors. TAG-72 is also
expressed on normal secretory endometrium, but not on other normal
tissues. |
